Programs will be held on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10am-11am CST.
Maximum number of participants: 30 girl scouts
Program Information:
The 1 hour long virtual program introduces Girl Scouts to threats sea turtles face, Sea Turtle, Inc. 's rehabilitation efforts, ways to help the conservation of sea turtles, and learn how to diagnose your own patient!
Program registration will include one Troop Patient Adoption.
Each Girl Scout will receive a unique Ocean Stewards Sea Turtle, Inc. Girl Scout Patch.
Levels to be served:
Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors, Adult
Possible service projects:

Join or organize a beach clean up or inland clean up (local park, neighborhood)

Make posters about the reality of ocean pollution and how it directly affects sea turtles

Reduce plastic usage

Make a short film about ocean health to share with others

Collection drive of any items Sea Turtle, Inc. might need regularly
