This self-paced virtual program empowers Girl Scouts with knowledge about the challenges sea turtles face and the inspiring work Sea Turtle, Inc. does to rehabilitate and conserve these amazing creatures. Perfect for learning anytime, anywhere—this program also offers fun, impactful ways to get involved and make a difference.
Program Access:
Access upon registration for 20 days.
Program Information: Program registration will include one Troop Patient Adoption.
Each Girl Scout will receive a unique Ocean Stewards Sea Turtle, Inc. Girl Scout Patch.
Levels to be served:
Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, Cadettes, Seniors, Ambassadors, Adult
Possible service projects:
🐢 Join or organize a beach clean up or inland clean up (local park, neighborhood)
🐢 Make posters about the reality of ocean pollution and how it directly affects sea turtles
🐢 Reduce plastic usage
🐢 Make a short film about ocean health to share with others
🐢 Collection drive of any items Sea Turtle, Inc. might need regularly
